In early January, 2010, I paid a 25% deposit for 2 buses to transport 58 students and 4 teachers to and from the Marin Headlands for a week of Science Camp.

I communicated with United Coach by email, and although I appreciate the written record of our exchanges, United Coach did not respond promptly to my messages.

I did receive a shocking email from them just 2 weeks before our scheduled departure - and long after we had paid in full for our journey. At that time, they said they did not have a driver available and were canceling our booking.

As I type this, I am frantically looking for transportation for a trip just 2 weeks away. Our students paid for their trip based on the billing from United Coach, so we have no extra money to accommodate higher charges, if they are required.

I cannot believe United Coach would accept our charter, allow us to "pay in full," keep our money for 2 months, and then cancel our trip - leaving us only 2 weeks to make other arrangements.

I find this extremely unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

I will be happy to amend this posting if there is any change in the decision of United Coach. I believe they should make a better effort to fulfill their contract, or assist us in making other arrangements. As you will notice, they have plenty of clauses in their contract specifying our payments, responsibilities, and penalties should we choose to cancel. Doesn't it seem reasonable that they should hold themselves to equal standards of responsibility?

I will let you know if I am provided with better news to report in regard to this situation.

United Coach Tours offered a great experience for our wine tasting group to visit Sonoma and not break the bank. We chose our own locations which was no problem at all. The quote included all fees (no hidden costs!) and was still the best price around. Our driver Raymond showed up right on time and was very patient with us as we may have been quite loud on the drive home after all that wine!

The bus was also very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this company to any group! :cool:

We have a group ski and snowboard trip that runs every weekend in the winter. Some guests have ridden on our trips 15 + times in the last two winters and expect a standard product. United Charters was able to operate our routine trip Tahoe seamlessly which helps our company continue building on our quality service reputation.

I found United Coach Tours from the website and emailed in for a quote. The quote came in quickly and I got to talk to Larry in person. They have the best price comparing to other quotes I got. I booked the date 12/11/09 as the company Christmas event in SF then need to change to 12/18/09, Larry was very helpful to adjust the date for us. On 12/18, the bus came on time and the driver is very polite & professional. The car is clean and the seats are comfortable. I have no doubt to recommend them to our fellow business pals as we ourselves, will definitely call them again for our next company event.

We engaged United Coach Tours for our trip to LA from San Jose and was very pleased by the service. The driver was on time and patient even when some of the guests were not able to reach on time. He helped load and unload the luggage and maintained a safe driving conditions. I would definetly recommend this company and would go back if i need a charter bus again.

We used United Coach Tours to visit several different olive growers and olive oil producers. We left from Oakland and had a great experience. I would definitely recommend United Coach Tours.

I contacted 6 charter companies for my event, and United Coach Tours was not only the most responsive, they were also the most economical! I was very pleased with the service - they arrived ontime (even a little early), and were great throughout the event! I will definitely use them again

I used United Coaches for a large group who travelled to San Francisco in December 08. I had contacted a number of coach companies for rates and availability and United Coaches replied within 24 hours and were very competitive.
All coaches were all clean and always on time and the drivers very helpful.
I would definately recommend United Coaches following our experience and I look forward to working with them again.

I booked a bus for a field trip for middle school 2 weeks in advance. The bus was clean and safe. The bus driver was awesome. He was efficient, friendly but firm with all of the students. He was timely and a safe driver. I was very happy with United Coach Tours.
